We will always do our best to help you bring your personal touches in to your room in our care homes. If you’re moving from a house to our care home, unfortunately you won’t be able to bring everything with you. We need to consider the safety of all our residents and staff. We find that most residents bring a favourite painting or simple side-table or chair at the most.

Yes, we invite hairdressers to come to our care homes on a regular basis. Appointments are arranged through the care home and are paid for on a separate basis; either directly between the resident / family and the service provider, or if more suitable, through the use of a cash float.

We always try to give privacy to our residents and a private meeting space can be arranged on an advance basis. Please ask and we will always do our best to help.

We advise that valuables are looked after by a family member, or by your solicitor or bank. If you wish to bring them with you to our care home, please ensure you have appropriate personal insurance as we are unable to be responsible for the security of your belongings. Our care homes take security very seriously however it is the safety of residents which takes priority first.

In a care home, it is important that we keep all our residents safe so we keep all medication in a secure cabinet. We learn your medication routine and we support you with it.
